Humans = Forerunners?

Because the CB is not a good way to debate, I decided to make a thread. Please, only debate here if you are not dumb and headstrong with your beliefs and are willing to listen and take other points into consideration. lol



I already have gotten down to a conclusion, but I want to hear what everyone else has to say.

The Forerunners just considered the humans special when the Librarian was indexing them. Which is why they were the next in line to uphold the 'Mantle'.

Well what if the foreners made humanity to fight the flood after the flood killed them so they put the portal to the ark on earth so humans could find it and then get the there technology to fight the flood or something along that line.

If you get all the terminals in halo 3 you learn that the forerunners raged war against the flood and lost of course thus they created the halo rings to destroy the flood and made some arks that are out of range of the the weapons and the ark is also how they fire all the rings so they put the portal to it on earth so humanity can use it and then live on the ark and in halo 3 level the covenant they use sergeant Johnson to activate the rings and in halo wars they use the professor chick to activate the big spaceships that look like giant keys so obviously the forerunners have something to do with humanity but that's off the top of my head




P.S. What if Atlantis has to do with the Forerunners it could work
